Back to school brings our children and family members face to face with lots of germs and bacteria, among other things. Nothing is more important in controlling these than washing your hands. In your home, you may use essential oils to help fight bacteria and make the home smell great at the same time. These oils may be used as bactericides, which means they inhibit the growth of bacteria: Cinnamon, Clove, Lemon, Eucalyptus, Lavender, and pine. You may use these in cleaning.
8 drops of your choice of oils or combine for a scent that you like in 2 1/2 cups of water, use to wipe down counters, surfaces and handles also may be used to wipe toys, phones, and other items that may carry bacteria.
If you are feeling as if you are “coming down with something, take a warm bath and add the following oils to it 3 drops Tea Tree, 2 drops Lavender, 2 drops of Thyme, Make yourself a soothing drink, add 1 drop of clove 2 drops of lavender to a teaspoon of honey dilute it in a cup of hot water. Sip your drink slowly and go to bed. If you use only a shower, then create a massage oil using 2 drops of Tea tree oil, and 3 drops of Eucalyptus diluted in a teaspoon of vegetable oil.
